RENTAL TERMS:  Rates quoted for The Haven are for two people.  Accommodations can be made for 6 to 8 people.  However, an additional charge of $10 per night per person in excess of two will apply.  Because of easy access to the pool, children under 10 can NOT be accommodated at this time.
     Rates vary according to day of the week and season.  Weekends require a commitment for a minimum stay of two nights.  Holiday weekends may incur additional requirements.
     Rates are subject to change without notice.  Rate changes will not affect confirmed advance reservations.

TALLADEGA RACE WEEKEND:  Talladega race weeks (in Spring and Fall) have a specific additional terms detailed below.
 

RENTALS FOR NON-TALLADEGA RACE STAYS:

Summer Season:  April 15 through October 15 (Except for Talladega Race weekend): 
     Week Nights (Monday through Thursday): $150.00 per Night. 
     Weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday): $200.00 per Night; 2-Day Minimum.

Winter Season:  October 16 through April 14:
     Week Nights (Monday through Thursday): $100.00 per Night. 
     Weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday): $125.00 per Night; 2-Day Minimum

Check-in Time:  3:00 pm     Check-out Time:  Noon
If possible, we will accommodate your request for early check-in or late check-out as needed, subject to availability.

Reservation Deposit:  A reservation deposit equal to one night's stay will be required to confirm/hold your reservation.  This deposit is fully refundable if you cancel 72 hours before your scheduled arrival.  Cancellations with less than 72 hours notification will  be charged for one night's stay.  Talladega Race Weekend requirements are different.  See below. 

Security Deposit:  A major credit card or $50.00 cash per day refundable security deposit is required previous to or no later than check-in.  Failure to supply a credit card or Security Deposit will void any reservation.  Guests will forfeit any reservation deposit and will not be allowed to check-in or stay.  The Security Deposit will be returned after the premises have been vacated and an inspection determines there are no damages or missing items.  Premises must be left undamaged and with no items missing, or the cost of repair and/or replacement will be deducted from the Security Deposit or charged to your credit card.  Note:  We expect of course, that the premises will need a routine cleaning when guests leave.  However, if the premises require more than this routine cleaning, an additional cleaning fee will be charged accordingly.

TALLADEGA RACE WEEKEND:  Since the demand for lodging is very high during Talladega Race Weekend and there is often a waiting list for lodging, the following special terms and conditions shall apply to stays during Talladega Race Weekend in either the spring or fall:

Talladega Race Week Rate:  The fee is a flat $3,000 for a 7-Night stay including Race Weekend.  Accommodations can be made for NOT MORE than 8 people.  However, an additional charge of $140 per person in excess of two will apply whether or not they stay the entire week.  Please let us know when you register how many guests we should expect. 

Check-in Time:  3:00 pm     Check-out Time:  Noon
If possible, we will accommodate your request for early check-in or late check-out as needed, subject to availability.

Talladega Race Week Reservation Deposit:  A reservation deposit of $1,000.00 is required, and we recommend reservations be made as far in advance as possible.  The remaining $2,000 MUST be paid at least 30 calendar days before the  Friday of Race Weekend.  Failure to cancel a reservation at least 30 calendar days before the Friday of Race Weekend or complete payment in full will result in the forfeiture of any moneys paid.  In this case, any rights to stay at the property will also be forfeit.  In case of forfeit, the premises will be rented to the next person on the waiting list.

Talladega Race Week Security Deposit:  A major credit card or $500.00 cash refundable Security Deposit is required previous to or no later than check-in.  Failure to supply a credit card or Security Deposit will void any reservation.  Guests will forfeit any reservation deposit and will not be allowed to check-in or stay.  The Security Deposit, less a $100 cleaning fee, will be returned after the premises have been vacated and an inspection determines there are no damages or missing items.  (Cleaning fee applies to Talladega Race Weeks only.)  Premises must be left undamaged and with no items missing, or the cost of repair and/or replacement will be deducted from the Security Deposit or charged to your credit card.  Note:  We expect the premises will need a thorough cleaning when guests leave.  However, if the premises require an extensive cleaning, an additional cleaning fee will be charged accordingly.

TYPES OF PAYMENTS ACCEPTED:  The timing and types of payments accepted for either deposit or your stay vary as follow:

• PayPal (Preferred):  Payment received online or via telephone or mail.  Reservation is not confirmed / accommodations not held until electronic payment is confirmed.  PayPal may also be used for the Security Deposit, providing the funds are electronically confirmed before check-in.

• Credit or Debit Card:  Payment by Credit or Debit card (Via PayPal's Virtual Terminal) requires an additional processing fee of 3% of any total due.  Payment of Reservation Deposit is received via telephone, Email or mail.  Reservation is not confirmed / accommodations not held until electronic payment is confirmed.  Payment of Security Deposit is received in person.  Check-in is not permitted until electronic payment is confirmed.
     PayPal's Virtual Terminal:
        It’s an online version of the credit card swipe machines used in stores.  Customer orders by email, phone or mail with credit card.
  We enter your credit card information into PP's Virtual Terminal.  You must supply the following information:
  • Credit Card Type
  • Credit Card Number
  • Expiration Date
  • Credit Card's Security Code
  • Card Holder's Billing Address including: Street, City, State and ZIP Code
  • Card Holder's Email Address

  PayPal electronically processes the transaction and our account is electronically credited.  We pay the same low per-transaction price (3%) for any major credit card, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
   

• Cash, Delivered In Person (Preferred):  Payment received.  Reservation is immediately confirmed and accommodations held.  Cash is a valid way to pay the Security Deposit.  ATM machines are readily available at many locations in Pell City.
   
• Money Order (Preferred):  U.S. Postal Service Money Orders ONLY.  Payment received by mail.  Reservation is not confirmed / accommodations not held until a Money Order clears deposit at our bank.  Time to clear the deposit of a money order at our bank prevents the use of a money order for payment of Security Deposits.
   
• Personal Check:  Payment received by mail.  A reservation is not confirmed and accommodations are not held until the check clears deposit at our bank.  Time to clear the deposit of personal checks at our bank prevents their use for payment of Security Deposits.
